Amazing Lives
Summary Mike Osborne almost lost his life when his plane exploded in a fireball leaving him with 80% burns. This film follows Mike's recovery and his painful search to restore the face that once was. His search will take him to Paris where half the skin on his face will be replaced with 'artificial skin', and then back to London and a new treatment - the 'Isolagen' process. We meet Katherine Dowling, the first burns patient to receive this new treatment. Her face, terribly scarred in a house fire, has been successfully 'grown back' to how it was before the fire
