Summary
This dataset example introduces researchers to two-way scatter plots. Two-way scatter plots, often simply called scatter plots, allow researchers to explore graphically the relationship between two continuous variables. This example uses a subset of data from the 2015 Fuel Consumption Report from Natural Resources Canada. It compares CO2 emissions from automobiles with how much fuel they consume. Understanding the factors that relate to CO2 emissions is important for making decisions about transportation policy, environmental policy, and climate policy
