Summary |
The 2/5th Field Regiment was part of the 18th Brigade, 7th Division, 2nd AIF and was formed at Ingleburn N.S.W.on Anzac Day 25th, April, 1940 and was commissioned on that day under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel Clive Ingate. The regiment left Australia for over seas duty in October 1940 and saw Action in Egypt, Seria, New Guinea, and Borneo, The regiment was disbanded on 26th Febuary, 1946 |
