Summary From the end of WW2 until the late 1970's asbestos was mined at Bayulgil in New South Wales with poor facilities to protect mine workers and local residents from the deadly dust. The majority of workers and locals were Aboriginals. Mine workers and residents tell of the conditions under which they worked and lived and the lack of support from the Dust Diseases Board and the mine owners
