In 'The City in Time,' Pamela Corey focuses on these artists and their contexts, suggesting alternative ways of understanding contemporary artistic practices within a region that lingers in international perceptions as perpetually 'post-war.' Focusing on Ho Chi Minh and Phnom Penh, Corey explores how these key Southeast Asian cities shape artistic practices while the art simultaneously consolidates images of the cities.
