She was unexpectedly commissioned to make a documentary about the endangered Flatback Turtles of Port Hedland and their struggle to survive in one of the world's busiest shipping ports.With only meagre funds on offer, Dickinson soon found that her growing passion for the Flatbacks was outstripping the budget - but she was hooked.
