Summary King Tut's Tomb: He's been dead for over 3,300 years and yet his image is still instantly recognizable. He was 18 when he died and it is now believed it was from gangrene and that he was not murdered. He is one of the most famous of all the ancient Egyptian figures. Assassination of King Alexander: On Tuesday, October 9, 1934, King Alexander the first of Yugoslavia was in Marseilles in the South of France making a state visit in the hope of strengthening an alliance between the two countries. While he and the French foreign Minister Barthou drove through the streets Alexander and his chauffeur were shot by a man in the crowd. As there was a camera man right on the scene the footage has become one of the most historic early newsreels
