Report of a census of disabilities and handicaps using interviews with 907 Aborigines in 229 households in the Taree area; overall the level of reported disabilties was 2.5 times higher for males and 2.9 times higher for females than for males and females in the total Australian population; disorders of sense organs and mobility handicaps were most frequently reported; concluded that results highlight the need to assess Aboriginal people in other parts of Australia
