Summary |
This film is based on a stage play that places the audience in the position of strip-club customers. Dwoskin, however, pushes the play's comment on exploitation much further towards abstraction. Each of four striptease acts is presented less 'realistically' than the one before as the camera moves closer to the faces and conventional performance gives way to something more unsettling for the audience in a form of confrontation which undermines expectations |
