Summary |
Shanghai, the western world's orginal gateway to China, fast forward 100 years and the city's fortunes have blossomed. The surrounding area has swelled to 80 million people, and they are all served by a transportation network with Shanghai at its centre. Every day, millions flood here to change from buses to subways, trains to planes, but the roads that connect these services have reached saturation point, and its set to get worse. The solution is radical, divert all modes of transport into one gigantic building, the ultimate transport hub |
