This program will cover practical clinical skills for GPs to enable them to work effectively with young patients who are experiencing emotional or health problems. The program will also demonstrate the psychosocial biopsy, including discussions of how to handle confidentiality issues in a clinical setting; discuss developmental psychology and the importance of communication with adolescent clients; discuss common problems in parenting adolescents; outline the medico-legal aspects of confidentiality
