Summary |
This documentary explores the issues surrounding those seeking asylum in the face of the Australian Government's policy of mandatory detention for "unauthorised arrivals". This program shows interviews with former detention-centre employees, and asylum seekers who are now living in Australia on temporary protection visas after spending time in detention. It also includes footage of a breakout from the Woomera Detention Centre by some of the refugees with encouragement from people protesting against mandatory detention of asylum seekers |
