Air Crash Investigation ; Series 11, Episode 4 |
Summary |
On 11 September 1991, Continental Express Flight 2574 was nearing the end of its flight from Laredo to Houston, Texas. But as the pilots prepared to land, the plane tipped into a severe dive and fell from the sky as the left wing was torn apart. All 14 people on board died in the disaster and the impact was so violent that the wreckage was not recognisable as an airplane. Investigators first suspected there was a bomb on board, but when the theory was dismissed, they dug deeper and eventually uncovered a chilling story of good intentions gone horribly wrong |
