Summary |
Rob Hamill tells the story of his brother Kerry, who was captured along with two of his friends by the Khmer Rouge in Cambodian waters in 1978. One of the men man was shot dead right away, and Kerry along with his British friend John Dewhirst were taken to the notorious S21 prison where they were tortured and eventually killed. The family back in New Zealand didn't hear the terrible news until two years later. The film follows Rob as he travels to Cambodia in 2009 to give evidence at the trial of Khmer Rouge leader Comrade Duch. (From New Zealand, in English and Khmer) (Documentary) CC |
