Summary |
Each ATSDR toxicological profile was prepared for the U.S. Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry and succinctly characterizes the toxicologic and adverse health effects information for the hazardous substance described. The focus of the profile is on health and toxicologic information. Therefore, each profile begins with a Public Health Statement that summarizes in nontechnical language, a substance's relevant properties.--Cf. ATDSR Web site [viewed july 19, 2011] |
Notes |
Originally issued as separate publications between 1989 and 2002. Repackaged and issued here as single monograph where titles have been collected and electronically designated as "chapters." The 163 chapters are arranged alphabetically by the name of the substance being profiled (eg. aldrin, aluminum, americium) and not by original publication date. The current Web version of the title does not receive updates |
