Summary Tsering's Fund is a U.S. based nonprofit and family social enterprise focused on combating the trafficking of females in the Helambu region of Nepal. Driven by extreme poverty and lack of opportunities for upward mobility, it is estimated that over 20,000 young girls are trafficked annually in Nepal. By providing timely financial support to continue their education in a safe environment, Tsering's Fund eases the pathway towards long term opportunities for girls at-risk and their families. Operated on its founding principle of zero overheads since 2007, Tsering's Fund has inspired over 500 benefactors to support 300 Nepalese girls in grade-school, 30 in higher education, and 110 orphans, thereby contributing towards the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal (SDG #5) of achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls by 2030. While proud of each girl saved from falling prey to child trafficking, Pete Schmieding, the founding Chairman and President of Tsering's Fund, wonders how to assess and communicate their impact and leverage their experiences and networks to bolster sponsorships and scale the contributions of their family's social enterprise
