Spending two weeks learning about each other's life, together they go on a journey to figure out what's more important; how a person looks on the outside or what's on the inside?Twenty-one-year-old glamour model Holly Kent meets 27-year-old Nelly Shaheen who was born with Harlequin Ichythiosis, a rare skin condition which makes Nelly look like a burns victim. Nelly's skin could literally kill her if she doesn't take care of it. She is the oldest known survivor in the UK with the condition. Holly believes her image is her bread and butter and is proud of her career as a glamour model, posing for lad's magazines and centre page spreads. Holly spends the first week trying to persuade Nelly there is a positive side to the world of glamour, taking her to visit strip clubs where she auditions as a pole dancer. Then it's Nelly's turn to convince Holly of her belief that the job she does and the image she projects is fake. The trip concludes with the girls going to LA, the home of glamour and Nelly's first long haul flight in over 20 years.
