The build does not progress to plan - delays occur due to the weather and late delivery, bringing work to a stand still at points. Six months into the build, the architect resigns and Helen decides to continue the project without one. Costs spiral and initial funds run dry and the dream is compromised.By mid February 2001 the house should have been completed. The shell of the huge Georgian house is built but work on the interior has yet to take shape. Helen, with her great eye for detail knows exactly how she will furnish and decorate once ready
