| Summary |
This dataset is designed for teaching how visual data can be used as part of a wider sociological examination of invisible nationalism. The photographic data discussed are provided by Professor Roger Penn from the Department of Sociology at Queen's University in Belfast, and are drawn from a study reported in "Football, the Military and Invisible Nationalism in Contemporary Britain," published in the journal Armed Forces and Society in 2016.
