Summary |
Nasser Ali Khan, the most celebrated violin player, has his beloved instrument broken in a furious fight with his wife. Unable to find another to replace it, life without music seems intolerable. He stays in bed and surrenders to death, slipping into a journey into his memories and to the woman he truly loved but could never be with.
