Summary While there are many approaches useful when conducting a literature review (e.g. the narrative literature review, the qualitative literature review, the integrated literature review), the focus of this method in action is to demonstrate the usefulness of the systematic literature review, to researchers at postgraduate level. This case study highlights the advantages and disadvantages associated with this method, as well as the key steps in the electronic database searching in order to provide readers with the tools and knowledge to implement this aspect of the systematic literature review in their own work
