Summary |
On tonight's episode of Last Woman Standing, log running with the Xavante tribe in Brazil is the next challenge for the brave competitors. The Xavante live in woodland along the Rio das Mortes - the river of death - and they have a reputation for being fierce defenders of their lands. It is natural, then, that their favourite sport is a display of brute strength, stamina and speed. The women must run four kilometres carrying 50kg logs on their shoulders in an extreme relay race under the blistering Brazilian sun.On top of that, the women must also trek for hours to dig for their own dinner while their coach, the tribe chief, steps up their training. It becomes all too much for endurance athlete Natalie, who becomes really sick. Will she able to compete and be the Last Woman Standing?PRODUCTION DETAILS:A BBC Production, series producer Sophie Todd |
