Summary When the president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, announces in 2007 that he will not exploit its Amazonian oil fields against financial compensations on industrialized countries, he takes on a very bold challenge. The challenge - to convince them that the safeguard of nature is worth more than petroleum extraction. The film tells the three-year story of Correa's team as they try to convince the international community that both north and south would gain to support this post-petroleum-era sustainable development model
