Summary |
Bonnie Greer was born and raised in Chicago, and spent a decade living in New York. She's a British citizen now, and has lived in the UK for 15 years. But, like all American ex-patriots, when the planes struck the twin towers of New York's World Trade Center on September 11th, Bonnie just wanted to go home. In the aftermath of the terrorist attacks, she did return - to find out how her family and friends really felt about the attacks. She didn't meet any of the arrogant, vengeful Americans shown by the world media; but, in a country that sells itself as the world's greatest democracy, she did meet a surprising number of ordinary people who felt misinformed and disenfranchised |
