Details of a workshop presented by RMIT Design Hub from Monday 7 December 2015 to Friday 11 December 2015 and led by independent curator Hannah Mathews, considering the significance, influence and role of notation across creative disciplines throughout history into contemporary practice. Over the 5 days practitioners from the disciplines of visual art, dance, sound, design and architecture gathered together to learn more about notation through a series of commissioned lectures. Reflecting a range of practices, backgrounds and generations, the participants also shared their own interests in notation from a process and/or work-based perspective through artist-led activities |
