Summary |
The case examines the Applebee's Restaurant Chain and the court case of Fast vs Applebee's regarding the fair pay of employees. Gerald A. Fast a tip based employee took Applebee's to court after the company refused to pay him minimum wage for the work that he performed that was non tipped and the time he spent at work before his shift waiting tables began. Mr. Fast won the law suit and Applebee's eventually settled the court case for nine million U.S. dollars |
