Summary This compelling drama based on a true story, tells the gripping tale of a couple whose lives are suddenly turned upside down when the innocent wife, who suffers from a very weak heart, is kidnapped at the dangerous whim of teenage egomaniacs. When Jan is abducted, Mark is perfectly willing to pay the $100,000 ransom that has been demanded, but the State police emphasize that the money is their only bargaining chip to help them locate Jan. If the kidnappers take the money and disappear, Mark may never see his wife alive again. To Michael and David, the two teenage boys who have abducted Jan, the kidnapping is just a stunt to ensure that they live in luxury while they are away at college. But as they are unaware of her heart condition and that a snowstorm is on its way, she is in serious danger of losing her life. Suddenly Jan feels a pain in her chest and she reaches for her medication. The pills are a lifesaver, but now she only has two left. Mark is doing everything he can to get her back.. she just hopes he finds her before it's too late
