The product costs taxpayers billions of dollars in health care, as smokers battle illnesses related to their addiction. In this special edition of Four Corners, running over two nights, award-winning reporter Peter Taylor investigates why thousands of young people around the world are still taking up smoking daily, and how the tobacco companies continue to turn big profits.We get an insight into how these powerful corporations manipulate smokers and seduce the young, potential victims of the fatal addiction.
