"Ancient China - Zheng Yang, art historian and archaeologist, was the first to discover ancient acupuncture needles which had been used by Emperor Qin's personal physician Kang 2300 years ago. Li Yong, a personable Chinese doctor, 88 years of age and very fit, still practises what he teaches: the art of traditional Chinese herbal medicine. He is a 16th generation doctor and all his sons also practise Chinese medicine in the village of Li Shizhen in Sichuan. The Emperor Qin resided in the city of Xi'an in Central China 80 generations ago, and his physician, Kang, became the first doctor to write down medical methods.
