Summary |
A crack team of engineers and archaeologists join forces with some of the original survivors, to unearth, for the first time, the secrets of the most famous wartime escape in history. On the night of 24th March 1944 76 allied airmen escaped from the North Compound of Stalag Luft III, a supposedly "escape-proof" POW camp in what is now Western Poland. This was the "Great Escape", one of the most iconic and thrilling stories in military history. (Part 2 of 2) (From Canada) (Documentary) (History) PG CC **Final** |
