The highly anticipated third and final season of East West 101 begins on Wednesday, 20 April. The award- winning lead cast returns, including Silver Logie winner Don Hany, multi AFI and Logie winner Susie Porter, as well as Aaron Fa'aoso, Renee Lim, Daniela Farinacci and Tasneem Roc.Joining the cast in 2011 are two of Australia's most talented rising stars, Matt Nable (The Final Winter, Mei Mei, SIS: Special Investigation Section) and Aden Young (Mao's Last Dancer, Cosi, Black Robe), as well as popular Australian talent Aaron Jeffrey (McLeod's Daughters), Tammy MacIntosh (Sea Patrol) and Robert Mammone (Underbelly).The seven-part dramatic series explores the fallout from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan through a series of violent crimes committed in Australia.Episode 1 - The Hero's Standard The sophisticated robbery of an armoured guard van leaves four dead, including some of the robbers themselves. One of the victims is an armed robber with possible terrorist links. Meanwhile, Malik clashes with new detective on the squad, a former army officer, Neil Travis (Matt Nable), in his impassioned pursuit of those who have hurt him and his family.
