| Summary |
Powerful and heartening documentary series The World of Jenks showcases the lives of three inspirational people who, despite huge personal challenges, are living extraordinary lives. 25-year-old award-winning filmmaker Andrew Jenks spends a year in the everyday life of each of his inspiring subjects, and SBS 2 has the free-to-air premiere of this uplifting and hilarious series.Jenks sits down with Chad's mother, Sheri, to discuss the reasons for Chad's weight gain and Sheri talks openly about her own struggles with this issue. Soon after, Chad has a doctor's appointment, and the doctor delivers some difficult news for him. At a dance battle, a fight breaks out between Chonkie and members of a rival dance group. D-Real helps to diffuse the tension, but then gets into an altercation with a security guard and ends up threatening violence. As part of her continuing cancer treatment, Kaylin must return to San Francisco for a routine scan. Meanwhile, she and her comic book partner and meet with a comic publisher who's interested in their project.
