Summary |
This documentary was made in 2002 to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, one of the greatest creative geniuses of all time. Gaudis̉ work found inspiration in the new architectural trends of his time, but it was the landscape of his native Tarragona, the Mediterranean Sea and Roman and Mudejar influences, as well as his fathers̉ trade as a coppersmith that most influenced this fiercely nationalistic and ascetic genius.
