Results of a survey carried out in 1994 on the educational needs of Aboriginal adolescents; some of the main findings are that schools in general are not successful in recognising and meeting the needs of their Aboriginal students; schools which are successful respect and value all of their students as individuals, communicate with Aboriginal families and have a curriculum which meets students' needs while making academic demands |
