Summary |
The Drawing Bazaar is the compilation of many years of effort by the authors to provide their students at the European University of Madrid with a solution to this surprising paradox - that drawing has progressively lost relevance within university education in architecture schools over the past decades. For this, they have structured an intense and complex book, with multiple layers of superimposed readings from simple browsing, viewing and enjoyment of excellent drawings by graphic communicators, architects and no architects, to the detailed and expert analysis of the most unique, effective and persuasive visual strategies. |
