Summary
Presents the college "step-show" in Indiana, with cultural roots that stem from traditional African dancing, military marching and contemporary hip-hop music. Step-shows have evolved into an African-American art form. Most often performed in talent competitions, 'stepping" has become a dynamic form of entertainment on the college campus. It is also a way for members of black fraternities and sororities to show pride and express devotion to their organization
