Summary |
In a worldwide investigation, Sunday Night lifts the lid on one of the world's biggest pharmaceutical companies and how they chose to ignore the lethal side-effects from its drug Trasylol. Used by surgeons to prevent excessive bleeding and save the need to give blood transfusions, operations appeared to be successful until people suffered heart attacks, strokes or severe kidney damage. Ross Coulthart speaks with a courageous woman who lost her father to the drug and is on a mission for answers. Then, Rahni Sadler sits down with the writer, actor, comedian and game show host Stephen Fry in a surprising and honest interview |
