In this Puerto Rican coming-of-age story, Carmín's dream of moving to the city with her mother vanishes when she instead moves to the US with her new husband. Carmín moves to Barranquitas, a mountainous village in the center of Puerto Rico, with her grandmother, a tough and conservative woman. Now Carmín must learn to live amidst absence, desire and love. Nominated for Bright Future Award at the **Rotterdam International Film Festival**
