The Healing is a documentary about three young men driving across America in search of hope. Within the last couple of years two of the three friends have had their lives turned upside down -Andreas suffered a Spinal Cord Injury in 2003 and Jonas was diagnosed with Muscular Atrophy in 2004. For Niels, the last of the three, it has been hard to see his best friends having their lives so dramatically altered. Against the odds, the three friends have decided to face the challenge that destiny has thrown at them - and this summer they continue a tradition of traveling the world together.
