| Summary |
Two artists Jayne Dyer and Nikki McCarthy produce work in response to the theme Critical influence. Each artist also participates in a research project that maps influences on their art practice as they prepare for an exhibition at the Ivan Dougherty Gallery. Critical influence is an exhibition that presents the work of both artists along with a range of other visual arts perspectives that include artwriting, artworld and research practices. By documenting each artist's imaginative response to critical influence the viewer can observe the artworks produced as well as explore the interpretative readings of others |
