| Summary |
British couple Nicky and James Dobree are turning a traditional 300-year-old farmhouse in Les Gets, France, into an exceptionally luxurious eight bedroom chalet - the ultimate in alpine glamour.The trouble is Nicky and James are living in London while their dream holiday home is being built, and the local French builders haven't got a grasp on Nicky's design.Nothing like this renovation has been tackled in the area before and Nicky finds herself constantly at loggerheads with the builders.Finally Nicky decides the only way she will get the house she wants is to move to Les Gets and project manage the build herself.PRODUCTION DETAILS:Written and presented by Kevin McCloud |
