Summary |
Chris MacDonald is a former US National Team elite rower. He has a background in exercise physiology, psychology and nutrition, and he is pioneer in the area of healthy and active living. And he has always set the most impossible goals for himself - and accomplished them. So when his father, Calvin MacDonald, was diagnosed with stage four oesophageal cancer and received a shocking death sentence, father and son teamed up to fight the dreaded disease - against all odds. Based on all the knowledge we have of cancer today, Chris created a diet and an exercise programme that, combined with chemotherapy, would be the strongest weapon against the deadly cancer cells. Chris filmed his father at all times, and this powerful documentary takes the viewer very close to their inspirational and intense battle against the disease. And the result is surprising... Almost miraculous |
