Classical music in video |
Summary |
A unique and beautiful portrait of the internationally acclaimed conductor Adam Fischer and his world of music. Hungarian-born Adam Fischer has worked with some of Europe's great orchestras and is the chief conductor of the Danish National Chamber Orchestra. The documentary follows him and the orchestra during the recording of W.A. Mozart's Symphony no. 25. In an accessible, yet humoristic and entertaining way, Fischer explains the role of the conductor, talks about the essence of a classical orchestra and elaborates on how he works with the musicians, motivating and convincing everyone to work with his vision of the music. The documentary draws a portrait of a man for whom music is a way to understand and experience one's own feelings |
