Summary
The aims of this book is to provide stimulating material for students in years 2 to 8 in the form of a series of problems. Some of these problems are really investigations or explorations as they develop through a number of stages involving extensions of the original problems. These extensions allow problems to be tackled by students of differing ages and abilities as well as giving students the chance to understand the way research mathematicians think. This also means that problems do not have to be completed in a single session; teachers may choose to come back later in the year as students' knowledge develops
