Summary This film discusses gender equity in a primary school situation. Students are seen working with construction kits and computers, in maths and science lessons, and at play in organised sporting situations. Sex roles and stereotypes are very apparent at this level. Interviews were conducted with primary school teachers and it was concluded that boys were dominating the time, resources and space in the classroom situation. A gender equity program was set up to change boys' and girls'
