| Summary |
Hong Kong, 1962. Chief Editor of a local daily newspaper, Chow and his wife move into new accommodation in a building mainly inhabited by the Shanghai community. Chow soon meets Li-zhen, a neighbour whose husband is often away on business trips. As his wife is also often away from home, Chow spends more and more time in Li-zhen's company. They become friends... drawn to each other...uncertain of how to react until the day they discover their respective spouses are having an affair.(source: DVD cover notes) |
