This book is the result of a realization on five countries at the request of the French Development Agency between October 2011 and April 2013. A team of researchers has carried out this investigation into what is the status and role of this faith-based NGO in development policies, and are these the sole objects of intervention by the Faith Actors, or can they be directed at others? Is the religious dimension a priority or minor in the activities of these religious NGOs: there are significant differences between these organizations in their respective objectives and in their modes of intervention.
