SAGE Business Cases
|
Summary |
The case centres on an offer by Walmart to a fictional company, BabyFreedom, which sells medically necessary organic certified clothing to infants and sustainably produced infant clothes for parents interested in protecting the environment. Up until now, BabyFreedom has remained relatively small and prides itself on being an ethical and environmentally responsible company. If BabyFreedom were to partner with Wallmart it would have to expand radically and change the way it does business, perhaps compromising its mission statement and company values |
