Summary |
The purpose of this work is to describe the main characteristics of the Chilean social security system, considering each of the benefits enshrined in national legislation: pensions, health, work accidents and professional illnesses, family benefits and unemployment. The analysis of each of these schemes is carried out following the key factors of social security: covered population; assured benefit; financing; and administration, management and control.
