Summary CATCHING HELL IN THE CITY OF ANGELS is the new documentary film from the makers of 2012's acclaimed 'Something From Nothing: The Art Of Rap' documentary. While their previous picture focused on the musical form most associated with the inner cities of America, their latest devotes itself to the less lyrical realities of life in the city itself - specifically South Central Los Angeles. Having worked with gang members from the infamous Imperial Courts housing project on the Art of Rap, the filmmakers returned to South Central at their invitation to record the day-to-day life of those who call one of the world's most notorious neighbourhoods "home". An unflinching vision of a place surviving beyond the margins of mainstream society and whose principal conduit to the outside world appears to come via police cars, ambulances and sensationalist news reports
